Meet Our Leadership Team

Ayal is a lifelong entrepreneur and began his career running his family’s small toy company. After multiple disappointing attempts at outsourcing fulfillment, Ayal founded a2b Fulfillment to improve the 3PL experience for his and other companies. As President and CEO of a2b, Ayal spends most of his time building and implementing the company’s strategy and growth plan. He also leads a2b’s initiatives with technology, automation, and robotics.

Ayal resides in Greensboro, GA with his wife Kara, and three children. In his off-time, Ayal can be found playing tennis, spending time with family, or driving his Miata Spec racecar around the track in north Georgia.

Dale Horne has been CFO at a2b Fulfillment since 2022. Dale is, by far, our most nomadic executive. Born in Memphis, Tennessee at a Naval Hospital, Dale currently resides in Georgia but has lived in various places including Rota Spain, Lisbon Portugal, the Azores, Canada, and many US States including Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Maine, and Illinois. Dale has been to every state in the country and is proud to be associated with the greatest group of people who call the United States their home. 

After serving eight years in the US Army 11B Infantry as a 25A Signal Officer, Dale’s early career focused on Foundational Accounting and Information Technology roles. He has served in various leadership positions including VP of Information Technology, VP of Finance, VP of Operations and Supply Chain. 

Dale is the proud father of five confirmed tax deductions. He is an avid learner of the Theoretical Physics - Quantum Mechanics field, astronomy, astrophysics, and robotics. When not pursuing quantum mechanics, Dale can be found mountain running, mountain biking, or long-distance target shooting. 

Dales holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia; an MBA from the Stetson School of Business, and the Certified Management Accountant Certification from the Institute of Management Accountants.

Gary Latz, VP of Corporate Affairs, has been with a2b Fulfillment since its start in 2001. Gary spends most of his time facilitating special projects and providing general advice. His business career includes executive roles in the CPG and Home Building industries. Gary holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Trinity University in San Antonio.  

Gary lives with his wife Janice on the north shore of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, MN, where they enjoy outdoor and community activities.

Kris joined a2b as our VP of Human Resources in November 2023. She has vast experience in many different industries including fulfillment, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, and agriculture. She owned businesses in insurance, consulting, and farm and ranch. She moved to Human Resources over 10 years ago because of her passion for helping businesses and people grow and excel.

She moved to Georgia in 2020 with her husband. Kris also has five adult children and a grandson. And don’t forget her rescue dog Charlie.

She loves everything outdoors, riding and showing horses, and traveling as much as she can with her husband to explore new adventures. 

Kris grew up and spent most of her career in Colorado, graduating from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Science. She has also served on many different community boards and committees helping these organizations better serve their communities. Kris also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Society of Human Resources Management.

Sarah Smith joined a2b as our VP of Marketing in February 2024. Sarah believes her success is attributable to applying her analytical background, marketing experience, and common sense.  

She began her career as a Forecasting and Business Operations Analyst in the CPG vertical. After moving to Las Vegas in 2005, she fell in love with digital marketing, a field she has pursued for over 19 years. Sarah spent most of her time in the travel industry before switching to the logistics vertical. She understands what drives businesses and creates marketing strategies that generate optimum ROI.

Sarah and her husband spend their free time hiking, ballroom dancing, and most importantly - catering to their German Shepherd Dog, Chewy Obaka. Sarah and her husband love to travel to UNESCO World Heritage sites, which have taken them to the Azores, Beijing, and the Aeolian Archipelago.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds a Certified Digital Marketing Expert from the Digital Marketing Institute and a Professional Certified Marketer from the American Marketing Association.

Brian joined a2b as our VP of Business Development in August 2024. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a diverse background including, Fintech, SaaS, and Logistics.

He has spent over 20 years pursuing excellence in sales and sales management. Brian's impressive track record has been accomplished by dedication to hitting challenges head on, continuous learning, and pursuit of efficiency. Success has followed him everywhere from private equity funded start-up’s to publicly traded companies. Brian has consistenly produced significant growth to each company.

When he is not busy chasing the next sporting event with one of his four kids, Brian enjoys spending time at the gym, mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding. And if all of that isn’t enough to keep him busy, he spends his time and emotion cheering on the hometown Creighton Bluejay’s. 

Brian also has a connection to Hollywood! “When I was in high school, we went to a Notre Dame game. They were filming the movie Rudy at the time. At half-time they came out and the audience was instructed to chant “Rudy! Rudy!” while they filmed the action on the field.  So yeah, I am Hollywood famous.”

Dylan began his career with a2b in 2021 as the General Manager of our Trenton, SC facility.  He was later promoted to Director of Operations, and again to VP of Operations, where he charts the course for operational excellence across our entire network.  Dylan brings extensive leadership experience across multiple industries, including manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing, where he has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to drive operational success. Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) is where Dylan’s passion lies, with a focus on enhancing process efficiency, boosting productivity, and fostering cohesive, high-performing teams.

A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Dylan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in Logistics and a minor in Finance. He was also a member of the football team, honing his skills in teamwork and discipline.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dylan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. Additionally, he is an avid offshore fisherman, chasing pelagic species along the South Carolina coast.
